Laramie Plains FCU rebrands as StagePoint

Laramie Plains Federal Credit Union in Laramie, Wyo., has a new identity.

The $65 million-asset institution said it has rebranded as StagePoint Federal Credit Union. The StagePoint name will be implemented across its products and services throughout 2021.

“Laramie Plains FCU has served Laramie and the surrounding communities for 86 years,” Tyler Valentine, the credit union's president and CEO, said in a press release Monday. “In that time, our members’ financial needs have changed a great deal."

Valentine said the new brand "reflects who we have always been, your local credit union, working for you to ensure you have the resources to achieve your financial dreams. Our team and leadership remain the same, but now our name and our brand will reflect our long-held commitment to our members and our community.”

StagePoint's new branding embodies a "local, strong" credit union committed to its communities and members, the release said. The new identity builds upon its history of being a "leader in technology and service, while forging a vision for the future."

The credit union, which was founded in 1935, also said it has a new branch under construction and another that will soon be remodeled.

StagePoint earned $244,000 in 2020, compared with $276,000 a year earlier, according to its call reports.
