Enterprise Financial Names St. Louis Entrepreneur as New Chairman

Enterprise Financial Services Corp. in Clayton, Mo., has named a prominent St. Louis private investor and entrepreneur as its next independent chairman.

The $3.5 billion-asset parent of Enterprise Bank & Trust said in a press release Thursday that John Eulich, a director since 2010, will take over as chairman. He succeeds James Murphy, who has served as a non-executive chairman since 2002.

Previously, Eulich led the management-consulting group for Mark Twain Bancshares from 1982 to 1984, according to his LinkedIn page. He was president and chief executive of Mark Andy, a printing equipment manufacturer, from 1989 to 2003.

Eulich serves on the boards of LMI Aerospace and ASPEQ Heating Group and is chairman of the board of Capital Partners in Charlotte, N.C.

Murphy, who is chairman of mechanical contracting firm Murphy Co., will remain on the board as lead independent director, a position he has held since 2005.
