South Dakota credit union's CEO of 10 years resigns

Robert Goscicki has resigned as president and CEO of Area Federal Credit Union in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Goscicki had been the chief executive of the $194 million-asset credit union since 2012, the company said in a press release Wednesday.

The credit union’s board has officially posted the position, and a search for a new leader is underway. It did not provide a reason for Gosicki's departure.

Area FCU earned $398,000 million in the first three months of 2022, a 13% decrease compared to a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
