To mark its expansion into Arizona QuikTrip stores, the network will waive fees for all users of QT ATMs in Phoenix for one day during a 'Welcome to Feenix' campaign.
The Cardtronics Inc.-owned Allpoint Network has expanded its footprint in Phoenix, Arizona, with the addition of metro-area QuikTrip stores to its surcharge-free ATM portfolio.
To raise awareness of surcharge-free ATM access, Allpoint will host a "Surcharge-free Day." For the day, Phoenix residents — regardless of FI affiliation — will get surcharge-free access to all Allpoint ATMs in Arizona QuikTrip locations.
The network also is working with Phoenix Councilman Bill Gates to publicize and promote free events and activities throughout the city.
"Our goal is to educate Phoenicians on the free and family-friendly ways to enjoy everything our city has to offer," Gates said. "With this campaign, we're supporting local businesses, the arts and culture, as well as the quality of life for all of our residents and visitors."
Phoenix Councilwoman Laura Pastor said that her team has worked with Allpoint to create an informational "Welcome to Feenix" passport that maps out free activities in across the city, including events at the science center, trolley tours, yoga classes and other events.
The campaign features a number of contests and giveaways:
"The expansion of the Allpoint Network into all Arizona QuikTrip locations is a step in the direction of helping citizens more easily enjoy everything Phoenix has to offer," said Bill Knoll, managing director of the Allpoint Network. "We look forward to educating residents on the various ways to save money throughout the city, including avoiding ATM surcharge fees as a member of the Allpoint Network."
