Mid Oregon Credit Union's president adds CEO role

Kevin Cole, president of Mid Oregon Credit Union in Bend, has added the role of chief executive.

Cole, who joined the $672 million-asset organization in 2016 as chief financial officer and was appointed president just five years later, stepped into the new role on Jan. 1. He succeeded Bill Anderson, who according to his LinkedIn profile had been at the credit union's helm for more than 29 years and retired at the end of last year.

"Early on, I identified Kevin as someone with a high level of integrity and accountability. …To be able to work with him for the past five years has helped me to know with certainty that we have the right leader in place, and this is the right time for me to turn over the reins," Anderson said in a press release on Tuesday.
