Truity Credit Union in Oklahoma hires new CEO

Truity Credit Union in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, hired Aaron Beldner as its new CEO.

He replaces Dennis Halpin, who retired in January.

Beldner was most recently executive vice president and chief information officer at Firstlight Federal Credit Union in El Paso, Texas. Prior to that, he was the chief information officer at Northwest Community Credit Union.

Aaron Beldner is the new CEO of Truity Credit Union in Oklahoma.

"We anticipate Aaron's leadership abilities, background and experience, his passion for both employee development and member service and his vision for Truity align well with our executive team," said Truity Chairman Brent Boeve in a press release Thursday.

Halpin had been with the $1.1 billion-asset Truity for more than 18 years and at its helm since 2018. The credit union in December named Mark Wilburn interim president and chief executive.

Truity earned $9 million in 2022, a 45% decrease compared with a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration. Truity has more than 72,000 members.
