Lincoln Park Savings in N.J. Renamed

Lincoln Park Savings Bank in New Jersey is now Lincoln 1st Bank.

The $250 million-asset company said the name change is part of a makeover effort that includes the introduction of the tag line "Your Bank. Your Neighbor."

"Customers will still see the same friendly faces they've come to know and trust, and we look forward to offering enhanced products and services in the near future," David G. Baker, the bank's president and chief executive, said in a news release Friday.

For the rebranding Lincoln 1st will offer a special 30-year fixed rate for conventional or jumbo mortgages.

The bank was established in 1923 as Lincoln Park Building & Loan Association. In addition to its headquarters in Lincoln Park, it has a branch in Montville, N.J., that opened in 2007, according to its website.
