Customers of JPMorgan Chase were unamused when the bank experienced a day-long digital outage, leaving many customers unable to make online transactions, use the mobile app, or conduct additional banking tasks.
The bank, after noting that some “functions” of its website and app were not working on its twitter, posted a second tweet some hours later at 10:45pm ET yesterday with the message:
Our digital channels are back to full strength. Thanks for your patience.

The bank did not provide a reason for the outage, leading many to vent to its @ChaseSupport handle on Twitter with messages such as these:
@chase maybe yall should lend some more of your budget to given @ChaseSupport is a bit of a joke. Half your website is down, I’m on a timeline & my only option is sending a generic message down a support blackhole.

Full functionality seems to have been restored to Chase’s online and mobile services this morning.
