As an executive in the ever-changing banking landscape, what separates early adopters from followers? How do innovators hone in on a specific focus when new technology darlings seem to emerge every day? And which technologies merit the most attention, resources, and time?
To answer these questions, Bank Innovation has gathered four innovators to share ideas that have sparked their passion and highlight the transformation of their FIs.
In a new format of sessions, four industry thinkers — including banking executives and core-processing experts — will talk about their ideas in 20-minute presentations called Ignite Ideas.
At Bank Innovation Ignite on March 11-12 in Seattle, there will be two such sessions. A March 11 session will include presentations from Wells Fargo Head of Innovation Lisa Frazier on how to apply AI to improve consumer financial health and from Joel Kashuba, senior VP of design & innovation at Fifth Third Bank, about the intersection between design and innovation.
The second Ignite Ideas session, which will take place March 12,will include Green Dot Senior VP of Business Development Seth Ross and Fiserv Director of Innovation & Payments Deva Annamalai. Ross will talk about platform banking, while Annamalai will address faster payments.
Bank Innovation Ignite features an excellent speaker faculty as well as a varied agenda that includes our annual DEMOvation Challenge, Innovation Bar networking event, and the new Innovation Alley. The event has already attracted confirmed attendees from Amazon, BBVA Compass, HSBC, Seattle Bank, Citizens Bank, Tri Counties Bank, Cross River Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Wells Fargo, and many more.
