MidWest America Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne, Indiana, hired David Shadburne to be its new president and CEO.

He takes over for Greg Mohr, who is retiring after serving as chief executive of the $798 million-asset credit union for more than 14 years.

Shadburne was most recently executive vice president and chief strategy officer at $1.3 billion-asset Park Community Credit Union in Louisville, Kentucky.

"[David's] passion for the industry will help drive MidWest America forward into the future, and we are looking forward to having him lead the team. Greg will be missed, but the credit union will remain in good hands with David at the helm," said MidWest chairman Dennis Headlee in a press release.

MidWest America earned $9 million in 2022, a 9% decrease compared with a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
