Noble Credit Union in California picks next CEO

Noble Credit Union in Fresno, California, hired Angelino "Gino" Cayanan as its new president and CEO.

Angelino "Gino" Cayanan is the new president and CEO of Noble Credit Union in Fresno, California.

He replaces Susan Ryan, who retired after 28 years with the $1.2 billion-asset credit union, including 22 years as its CEO.

Cayanan was most recently chief financial officer for Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union, where he managed $1.5 billion in assets and oversaw the finance, human resources and information technology functions.

Throughout his nearly 25-year career in credit unions, Cayanan held several senior executive positions including CFO, vice president of finance, chief operating officer, chief lending officer and interim CEO.

The credit union serves 113,000 members across seven branches.

Noble earned $2.5 million in the first quarter of 2023, a 41% increase compared with a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
