The Spanish stock exchange Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) has announced plans for blockchain infrastructure practical tests for the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This follows a previous pilot project from 2020, in which investment service providers and lenders took part. The latest blockchain project also offers users wallets in which companies can store their investment products and funds.
