The Forrester New Wave™: Computer Vision Consultancies, Q4 2020, The 13 Computer Vision Providers That Matter Most And How They Stack Up

We are very excited to have been listed in The Forrester New Wave™: Computer Vision Consultancies, Q4 2020 – The 13 Computer Vision Providers That Matter Most and How They Stack Up. The New Wave™ report differs from Forrester’s traditional Forrester Wave™ report in the way that it only assesses emerging technologies (such as computer vision).

Computer vision, how computers gain high-level understanding from digital images or videos, has been one of the driving factors that’s contributed to the success of AI in recent years. Among the 13 providers rated, Perficient is labeled as a “Contender”. According to the report, “Perficient is proficient at AI strategy development and document automation.”

The Forrester report says, “With detailed strategy development, roadmap creation, and capability maturity frameworks, the firm will help you design your AI, machine learning, and CV strategy. It has significant experience implementing CV projects for OCR and document processing in financial services as well.”

Our Azure team, along with the greater Perficient AI team, is extremely excited by the opportunities computer vision is presenting and is honored to be considered among the top providers in this new space.

Forrester’s recent Azure report, Now Tech: Azure Services Providers, Q4 2020, Forrester’s Overview of 41 Azure Services Providers, notes the many areas that enterprises may need assistance in their Azure journey, including in areas such as governance for Azure implementations, aiding with accelerating strategy to achieve results quickly, and bringing in skills that organizations otherwise may not possess.

As a provider listed in the global systems integrator capability category within the report, we are excited to be able to help clients with any of these issues. The report notes that, “Global systems integrators (GSIs) have broad, deep capabilities,” can work in both cloud and traditional infrastructures, and have capabilities in the management of both infrastructure and applications. The report lists global systems integrators with a greater number of high-level capabilities than any other category and includes capabilities such as Azure build services, solution services, and modernization services.

The Forrester Wave: Digital Process Automation Service Providers, Q3 2020, The 13 Providers That Matter Most and How They Stack Up

The Forrester Wave report identifies Perficient as one of “13 providers that matter most…” in the DPA space. The report included research with current clients and states that “reference clients praised the firm’s ‘proficiency in all aspects of the technology stack.’”

The Forrester report took an in-depth look at each service provider’s strengths across three categories: strategy, current offering, and market presence. Perficient’s approach to automation focuses on the intersection of process orchestration, RPA, and AI. We achieved the highest possible score in the innovation roadmap criterion, which is within the strategy category, and were listed as a “Contender,” as we’re still building our process discovery/analysis and citizen developer capabilities.

Our Modern Work experts remain dedicated to building out the citizen developer capabilities and are excited by the solutions we’re continuing to develop for clients with Power Platform in the space.
