Lloyds and Bink partner to create a new retailer channel

Wednesday 2 March 2022 15:10 CET | News

UK-based Lloyds Banking Group has partnered with fintech Bink to boost banks’ branding and advertising awareness and create loyalty programmes to attract new customers.

Bink’s technology can link a client’s payment cards to participating retailers’ loyalty and customer engaging programmes for further benefits such as cashback, discounts, and additional bonuses. The strategic partnership with Lloyds Bank will allow the bank’s customers to receive similar benefits and create loyalty programmes to attract new clients.

The key retailer benefits include, among others, removing friction at customer check-out points, capturing more customer transactions through customer-oriented loyalty programmes, and building accurate customer insights to further shape business decisions.

At the same time, customers will be able to check and redeem loyalty points with participating retailers directly in their mobile apps and have their favourite loyalty programmes linked to their payment cards.
