Baylor Health Care System Credit Union in Dallas hires first female CEO

Baylor Health Care System Credit Union in Dallas named Delana Bolen as its new president and chief executive. 

She is the first female CEO of the $91 million-asset organization, which was established in 1957.

Bolen succeeds Andy Reed, who left the credit union in January to become CEO of the $482 million-asset Security First Federal Credit Union in Edinburg, Texas.

Bolen was most recently vice president of sales and support for Cornerstone Resources in Plano, Texas. There, she was tasked with providing strategic leadership and insight to more than 500 member credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Baylor Health Care System Credit Union earned $478,000 in 2021, a 42% decrease from a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
