The founder of online lender, SoFi, who was ousted by his board just a few months ago amid sexual harassment allegations, is already working starting a new company.
According to reports, Mike Cagney is looking to start another fintech firm with his wife, June Ou, for which he is looking to raise about $25 million.
According to a Pymnts report, Cagney is already in discussions with possible investors including some of SoFi’s like DCM Ventures and Renren.
The company will be focused on home equity lines of credit (HELOC).
Cagney stepped down from SoFi in September; his wife followed soon after.
