The “Ultimutt” Showdown to Celebrate International Dog Day

Ivy 2 (2)

The move to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic has altered many aspects of our Perficient colleagues’ daily lives. Some of these changes have been hard to adjust to, while others have been a positive change. One of the best changes is the extra time we get to spend with our favorite furry friends!

A few weeks ago we highlighted the coolest cats in the Perficient family. Did you think we were going to let cats have all the fun? Oh, paw-lease! It’s time to feature some of our adorable Perficient dogs in honor of International Dog Day!

A Furry Close Competition

Over the past few weeks, the St. Louis office’s Social and Cultural Committee has been hosting a 2020 Pet Showcase + Bracket-ish Tournament of Champions to crown the cutest St. Louis-based Perficient pet. This six-week contest featured a field of 38 different pets. Each was highlighted with a headshot and a “fun facts”-filled description that was sent out to voters. The winner will be crowned at the end of this week, but to celebrate International Dog Day we are sharing a quick look at the dogs who made it to The Tug-of-war 10!

Cooper’s smile is proof of how excited he was to make it into the Tug-of-War 10

Angel once won a contest for fastest dog at a Purina Farms event when she was 6 years old. Talk about a winner!

Bentley

Bentley’s favorite work-from-home pastime is napping in the AC to stay cool and well-rested

Diablo is an American Bulldog whose top talents include melting hearts and being adorable

Lacey And Piper

Separated at birth? Both Lacey and Piper were adopted three years apart but bear a striking resemblance to one another. Now that’s a cute duo

Lincoln John

Lincoln John is in the running for most talkative pup and loves his squeaky toy more than anything

Tucker

The award for best puppy eyes goes to Tucker! Can’t say no to that face

Zoe

Zoe is a total animal lover! She says good morning to the family cat each day and enjoys chasing squirrels and moles in the yard

The Championship

Who will be crowned the 2020 Cutest Perficient Pet?

Doug

Doug has a best friend named “Dave” who happens to be a stuffed minion toy that he carries around with him throughout the day.

Colt Francis

Colt Francis is a dog with the energy of an Aussie and the food drive of a Beagle. He will do anything for food – we repeat: anything.

A Company Culture that is Doggone Unbeatable

Whether it’s helping out a local organization, going green to save the world, or coming together to find the cutest office pet, the Perficient team has no problem staying connected during this period of remote work. Our culture is stronger than ever and we are finding new ways to stay engaged and excited every day.

Editor’s Note:

The judges were ruff, but we do have a winner! Please take a moment to congratulate Doug, the lovable long-tongued retriever, who took the top spot for cutest dog and wears his honor proudly.

Doug Learning He Was The Winner

Doug was happy to learn he won but not sure why he didn’t get a biscuit. Treats are on the way, buddy!

Doug The Cutest Dog At Perficient

Doug, humbly sharing his win as cutest dog at Perficient.
