People Team Virtual Painting Event is a Colorful Success

Perficient Paints

No matter what team you’re on at Perficient, taking time to come together outside of traditional work duties is an important part of our culture. It helps us grow and maintain friendships, identify special talents, and acts as a reminder that while we’re all dedicated to working together to grow Perficient, that Perficient is just as dedicated to growing us as people.

Building Culture One Paint Stroke at a Time

One Friday afternoon, the People team (our Human Resources department) took a break and brought out the easels, paints, and secret talents for a super special team happy hour. The event, organized by Perficient’s new VP of People, Andrea Lampert, was a smashing success.

A Surprise at the Doorstep

People team colleagues each received a surprise package in the mail that included a canvas and painting supplies. They were led through virtual instruction to create a picturesque landscape that Bob Ross would certainly be proud of!

Seeing the team come together and take a break for creativity was well-received during a year like 2020.

The virtual event was the perfect way for the People team to come together, have a little fun, and welcome our new Director of Talent Acquisition, Mike Grennier. Mike even brought his painting into the office, and several colleagues commented they would bring theirs in as well, once we all go back in.

Trying New Things Together Brings the Team Together

The virtual painting event was the perfect way to catch up with People team colleagues and boost morale. The team laughed together about their struggles to create the perfect shading on their mountains or create the right color for their trees. We bonded in support of our more artistic coworkers, like Tanya Stewart, Talent Acquisition Specialist, who has a knack for all things creative.
