Last week Credit Karma passed Chase Mobile to slip into first place on both Android and iOS platforms. Maybe tax season has mobile users worrying about their credit history, or contemplating borrowing some cash?
Maybe not. Tax worries seem to already be a thing of the past. Google Wallet rose to seventh place on Android, while IRS2Go dropped three spots to tenth.
The IRS app also slid down the ranking on the iOS side. Mile IQ, a mileage-tracking app for those who drive as part of their jobs, moved up to iOS’s tenth place this week, pushing GEICO Mobile, Mint Manger, and IRS2Go down to 11th, 12th, and 16th, respectively.
