EXCLUSIVE — Melissa Widner, General Partner at NAB (National Australia Bank) Ventures, has joined the speaker faculty for Bank Innovation 2018.
Bank Innovation 2018 will take place March 5-6 in San Francisco.
Prior to NAB Ventures, Widner led two companies as CEO to successful acquisitions that provided over a 10X return to investors. She co-founded and was the CEO of Silicon Valley-based enterprise software company, 7Software, which was acquired by Concur Technologies, acquired by SAP). She was also a general partner at the VC firm SeaPoint Ventures, which focused on mobile technologies and SaaS enterprise software solutions.
At Bank Innovation 2018, Widner will be speaking on the panel, “Where and How to Invest in Fintech Now.” She will be joined by Stephanie Choo, Partner and Managing Director at Portag3 Ventures; Anju Patwardhan, Managing Director at CreditEase Fintech Investment Fund / FoFs and Shari Van Cleave, Manager, Digital Labs at Wells Fargo. The panel will be moderated by Seth Kenvin, Principal at Kenvin Business Labs.
The event will also feature speakers from Chain, Visa, Royal Bank of Canada, Mastercard, Green Dot, and more.
Attendees to the event will see startup demos, panels and presentations, and have the chance to seek advice and insights from fintech experts at the Innovation Bar.
