Alexei Moiseev, Russia’s Deputy Finance Minister said bitcoin should be regulated as financial asset and not as a currency. He also likened bitcoin to a financial pyramid, noting that not everyone should be allowed to trade in the cryptocurrency.
In an interview yesterday with RT News, Moiseev said:

Moiseev’s comments come just as the Moscow Exchange is working on a way it can regulate bitcoin trading as well as other cryptocurrencies.
