EXCLUSIVE – Lara Druyan, managing director and head of innovation at Royal Bank of Canada, has joined the speaker faculty for Bank Innovation 2018.
Bank Innovation 2018 will take place March 5-6 in San Francisco.
At RBC, Druyan heads up innovation on the West Coast, where she is responsible for identifying and investing in startups that are strategic to the bank, creating partnerships and new products, and establishing relationships with the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
Prior to RCB, Druyan was founding partner of a tech-focused investment and advisory firm focused called G&B Partners. Additionally, she has invested in and served as adviser to numerous companies, including Xactly (XTLY), Powerset (MSFT), Skout (MEET), Xlink, Ironqloud, Galvanize Labs and Krome Photos. In 2016, she was named one of the “Silicon Valley Investors You Need to Know” by Inc.
At Bank Innovation 2018, catch Druyan make a presentation on Building an Innovation Practice. The session will address questions like how RBC built partnerships to accelerate the pace of innovation, what the bank did to transform its innovative culture and how it measures success.
The event will also feature speakers from Fiserv, Green Dot, Mastercard, Visa, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank.
