To TD Ameritrade, checking up on a portfolio is a task customers should be able to do on the go. Therefore, the brokerage firm has enabled in-car “experiences” to make that happen.
“Leveraging technologies like AI and machine learning, voice and audio, our customers can engage in a way that makes this experience more intuitive and more natural,” Sunayna Tuteja, the company’s head of digital assets, said in a recent interview.
TD Ameritrade recently rolled out a series of digital tools to help customers manage their portfolios while driving, including capabilities to put mobile device interfaces on dashboard screens and voice-activated commands that help customers learn more about their portfolios.
Tuteja spoke to Bank Innovation about why in-car experiences have potential, and how they offer customers new opportunities to use voice as a channel to interact with their financial providers. View the video interview here:
