Vermont Federal Credit Union expands to cover full state

Vermont Federal Credit Union in Burlington has expanded its field of membership to cover the entirety of its home state.

The $840 million-asset credit union said it can now serve members in the counties of Essex, Rutland, Windsor, Bennington and Windham. In addition, it has redesigned its logo.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our wide range of banking products and services to all residents of Vermont,” Jean Giard, the credit union's CEO, said in a press release Monday.

Earlier this year, the credit union announced that it had acquired two new branches in the town of Essex and the city of South Burlington.

“As we expand our offerings to the full state of Vermont, our new brand logo better reflects the Vermont spirit of our member-base and employees,” Donna Perkett, Vermont Federal's chief operating officer, said in the release.
