Bank Innovation and its sister accelerator INV Fintech are holding a meetup next week on the topic, “The Future of Next Generation PFMs.”
During this meetup, the founders of the startup Budgit, Ruben Izmailyan and Mark Bechhofer, will discuss the advent of PFM — personal financial management — which have proliferated in the fintech ecosystem from standbys like Mint and MX’s famous bubbles to the newer specialized players. PFMs have created an important place for themselves in the way consumers manage their day-to-day finances, so much so that even larger banks such as Bank of America or Wells Fargo have added PFM capabilities in their mobile banking apps.
Izmailyan and Bechhofer will discuss this trend, as well as how the next-generation PFMs and banks will adapt to changing customer behavior and demands for context and advice.
To learn more about Budgit and the future of PFM, please RSVP for the meetup here. The event takes place Tuesday, December 11 at 6:30 PM, at the offices of Royal Media, parent company to Bank Innovation: 8 West 38th Street, Suite 901, in New York.
Light refreshments and drinks will be served.
Based in Brooklyn, New York, and Dallas, Texas, Budgit is a member of INV Fintech Class 6. It is an automated PFM that continuously and automatically updates a user’s budget using AI.
