Zions Names New CEO at Nevada State Bank

Zions Bancorp. has appointed a new CEO at Nevada State Bank.

The $60 billion-asset Zions named Terry Shirey president and CEO of Nevada State Bank on Thursday, according to a news release. Shirey succeeded Dallas Haun, who will remain the bank's chairman.

Shirey has worked for Nevada State Bank since 2008, most recently as chief operating officer. He previously was the bank's chief financial officer. Haun had been CEO of Nevada State Bank since September 2007.

Nevada State Bank operates branches in Las Vegas, Reno, Tonopah and other Nevada cities. Zions, in Salt Lake City, owns Nevada State Bank, Amegy Bank in Houston and five other banking franchises.
