First Interstate in Montana Hires Chief Credit Officer

First Interstate BancSystem in Billings, Mont., has tapped a KeyCorp executive as its new chief credit officer.

The $8.7 billion-asset company named Stephen Yose to the position, starting on April 4, according to a Thursday news release.

Yose had been a credit executive for the $95 billion-asset KeyCorp, based in Seattle, since 2002, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Yose will succeed Robert Cerkovnik, who had been chief credit officer since 2010. Cerkovnik left First Interstate last month to pursue other opportunities, according to a regulatory filing.
