Sage Teams With Satago To Help SMEs Manage Cash Flow

Sage has unveiled a new partnership with Satago, a cash management and finance program for small firms and accounting professionals, according to an announcement.

The tie-up is an extension of a current relationship that will have Satago’s offering smoothly linked with Sage Accounting, which will offer clients automated invoice chasing, invoice finance and credit risk analysis in a single system.

Neal Watkins, EVP of small segment at Sage, said in the announcement that satisfying the requirements of small companies is even more important at a time when a number of these entities have come into a “clear cashflow crisis.”

“Automating processes and giving them easy access to additional tools and functionality, such as Satago, is vital to overcoming issues they face with managing debtors and keeping a close eye on cash flow, both of which will reduce their level of risk,” Watkins noted.

The partnership gives the companies access to the tools required to receive quicker payments, keep bad debts as low as possible, surmount short-haul cash shortfalls and evolve faster. It will also free up more time for companies and generate efficiencies by automating workflows.

“It is time to put SMEs back in control of their finances. We can help through our integration with Sage, by automating credit control and providing access to risk insights to help businesses minimize bad debts and ensure faster payment — essential in today’s environment,” Satago CEO Sinead McHale said in the announcement.

Users can access the Satago app, which is available to those in Ireland and the United Kingdom, through the Sage Marketplace. For its part, Sage Marketplace gives over two million Sage clients access to “trusted apps” like Satago, according to the announcement.

In August, Repay Holdings (REPAY), the vertical integrated payments company, had connected its infrastructure with the Sage 500 enterprise management system. It was noted at the time that REPAY was already linked to the Sage 100 and Sage 300 products.
