United Community Financial in Youngstown, Ohio, has hired a JPMorgan Chase executive to be in charge of its technology.
The holding company for the $1.9 billion-asset Home Savings & Loan named Douglas Young to the newly created position of chief information officer, according to a Friday news release.
Young previously was executive director of global technology infrastructure at JPMorgan. He also previously worked at KeyCorp and National City Bank before its acquisition by PNC Financial Services Group. He is a graduate of Cleveland State University in Ohio.
