NewDominion in N.C. Hires President from Recently Sold Competitor

NewDominion Bank in Charlotte, N.C., has a new president.

The $325 million-asset bank said in a press release Wednesday that Tim Ignasher will also lead its commercial banking division.

Ignasher previously served as managing director of commercial banking at NewBridge Bancorp in Greensboro, N.C., which was sold this year to Yadkin Financial in Raleigh, N.C. Yadkin subsequently agreed to be sold to F.N.B. Corp. in Pittsburgh.

Ignasher "is the final piece we needed to round out our executive team," Blaine Jackson, NewDominion's chief executive, said in the release. "His commitment to the Carolina community and his resourcefulness aligns perfectly with the bank's core values."
